The visit to the armoury was quite fruitful due to the many ideas and inspirations that the relics offer. We noticed how many different types of armour was used back in that time and the long time to create as one looks closer. Decorations such as florals and religious symbols are etched into the metal, either for blessing and good luck in war or distinction of class in knighthood. I took many close-ups of the armour because I realised that much of the work taken made sense: if we take a look at one of the collars; it is made like fish scales, and this helps further reduce damage when deflecting a sword blow. I noticed that many designs were like trends; a very similar floral and organic pattern on certain armoury pieces is found in the fabric of the palace curtain and wallpaper.
